Executive Director, ANTTARC

Myftar has graduated in Philosophy from the University of Tirana (Albania) and has earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Bowling Green State University, USA. He has also completed a one-year Program in International Relations at the University of Tirana and a one-year Program in Diplomacy at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna (Austria). He is a "graduate" of the ORT/USAID Institutional Development and Management Program.

Myftar is the Executive Director of the Albanian National Training and Technical Assistance Resource Center (ANTTARC). Since 1999, Myftar manages ANTTARC’s training and technical assistance programs. He designs and provides training and technical assistance in organizational management and development, project development and management, good governance, advocacy, Training of Trainers, etc. for governmental and non-governmental institutions. At ANTTARC, he has also managed large projects focusing on civic engagement, good governance and anti-corruption, social inclusion, etc. Prior to joining ANTTARC, he has been a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Albania. His teaching experience includes a part-time faculty position at the University of Tirana and Teaching/Research Assistant at Bowling Green State University.
