ArtNexus, in partnership with Creative Mentorship, is excited to announce our next workshop in Motivation!

On 30 May 2024, we hosted a workshop focused on motivation. The "Motivation workshop" aimed to explore various factors that impact our motivation, identify individual motivational factors, share ideas and techniques for self-motivation and understanding others' motivation, and discover different approaches to motivating others.

The workshop employed a facilitated approach, incorporating individual and group tasks, panel discussions, and practical scenarios to enhance participants' understanding of motivation in real-life situations and challenges. Throughout the afternoon, we will be examining the source and factors that influence motivation, such as external and internal factors, the desire to prove others wrong, or the awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. By understanding ourselves and our motivations, we can effectively tackle any external challenges that come our way.

There is no right or wrong motivation, as long as it drives us to give our best and work towards our goals. Whether it's indulging in our favorite treats, engaging in creative activities, or finding solace in stargazing, if it helps us stay energized, gather our thoughts, or boost our sense of pride, we should embrace it.

Meet our expert:

Larisa Halilović is the Chairwoman of the Creative Mentorship Advisory board, an international Development Expert, Team Leader, TEDx Speaker twice, Executive Trainer, Coach and Mentor, with more than 20 years of experience in management, leadership, and professional development. She studied at Cambridge University in the UK and New Zealand in the fields of adult education, linguistics, and psychology. Larisa has been leading important projects in the field of education, social development, and culture in the Western Balkans as a directress of the British Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently, she holds a lead position on the regional media project team at the British Council Western Balkans.
